Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism: I am proud to announce that I have been appointed to the full-time faculty at the Columbia University's J-School. Along with teaching, I am also the Coordinator of the New Media Program.

Webby Awards: I am happy to announce that Tara Kyle and Ahmed Shihab-Eldin, two of my former students, along with Bilal Qureshi, have won a Webby Award for the project, Defining Middle Ground. Their award marks the second consecutive year that Columbia students have won. Last year, Anne Machalinski, Aili McConnon and Christie Nicholson won for their site, Science and Sex.
