Past Speaking Events

January 5 - 8, 2007: San Diego, California. Nation Education Association Conference. The NEA has invited me to its national conference to conduct workshops on podcasting and multimedia production. The workshops are intended to give educators, especially those working in the areas of PR and marketing, better tools to communicate and to promote themselves.

November 16 - 18, 2006: Reno, Nevada. Swift Newspapers, Inc., a family-owned group of about 30 community daily and weekly newspapers, is revamping their online presence. Web sites throughout their network are being redesigned and their reporters are being trained to produce more engaging multimedia. I will training a group from their online division in animation and video poduction.

October 13 - 19, 2006: United Arab Emirates. I've been invited by the U.S. State Department to conduct workshops in multimedia production and citizen journalism at various universities in the UAE. I will be training working journalists and journalism students at Zayed University (Abu Dhabi), UAE University (Abu Dhabi), Zayed University (Dubai), Higher College of Technology (Fujairah), and the University of Sharjah (Sharjah).
