I offer multimedia training courses and consulting services.

My classes range from one-night seminars to multiple-week workshops that cover everything from software instruction to field production. I specifically cater to those with little or no multimedia production experience. All of my training programs have a sharp focus on effective and efficient communication skills and techniques.

My teaching philosophy is simple: In the shortest amount of time possible, give journalists and other content creators the skills and confidence to gather, produce, and think about multimedia content production. My workshops are fast and intensive and fully hands-on. I promptly demystify the terms “online,” “new media,” “multimedia,” and quickly get into production. I do not simply teach software and camera work; I teach my students to apply these technologies to the real challenges of modern journalists and other content creators.

As news rooms and other communications businesses grow, their needs in producing, storing, and distributing content will also change. I help organizations to address these issues on all levels – from acquiring the equipment and software that they need to managing their ever-growing volume of content as they produce and distribute it.
